Kale Chips
Tonight I tried out a new recipe for a healthy and tasty snack alternative - Kale Chips.
I know many people would not think that the words "Yummy" and "Tasty" would be used to describe a dish made with Kale but, trust me, even my picky son thought these were very good.
I am trying to slowly change our family's eating habits, without them noticing....
So, when my sister shared a box of extra veggies and fruits that she had purchased from the local organic club, I had the challenge of trying something new for dinner. Thus the search for a recipe using Kale.
I searched on Allrecipes.com and found this one with high reviews using Kale, Olive Oil, and seasoned salt - all ingredients that I had readily available. I also added grated Parmesan cheese to the recipe.
They seemed like a good side to my plans of Turkey Burgers for dinner.
